I just found this photo I was working on but gave up on today while going through my stuff. I liked the original photo and had ideas for it, only problem is because it is a real photo, not just a digital one, there was a unacceptable amount of noise on the original, so removing it would have been too hard.

It's a photo of one of the two dams out the front of our house and after the fires all the water got sucked up and it became all cracked and icky. But the good thing about it was I could walk to the island into the middle of it and take some photos. :)

Wow! That's a lot of water they pumped out.

It is hard to deal with artifacts & noise. But your instincts about your photo's beauty are on target. So glad you posted it.

Haha, well actually it wasn't pumped out, but the heat that resulted from the fires (or more started them... either way...) actually sucked most of the dam dry. :)

Thanks! :glomp: I hope to be uploading a bit more traditional photography starting next term (I've been a little bit more dedicated to my art class this year rather than photography :blush:) I'm glad you like!
